Is an ipad worth the extra cost compared to other ebooks?

kay so a few questions about the ipad. Can i get a word processor for it (word, pages, whatever) and if u can, can u print them or email them? will the iPad work well as a laptop for a teenager who likes her ipod touch, but wud like a word processor too so its good for school?

I mean, there hasn’t really been much of a change regarding features in the newly launched iPad. Same apps, same internet feature, same email feature, same photos feature, same movies feature etc. Really, isn’t the iPad just a bigger screen really? I’m pretty fine with the small screen of my iPod Touch (except for reading e-books). There’s no point in spending more money at all is there?

i had an 8GB , 1st gen iPod Touch which i sold to my brother. i am now considering buying an iPad. Is it worth buying? if so what separates the iPad from the iPod/Phone?

So the two are both the same, basically. But how come the ipad is hated and the iPod touch is praised. The main reason why people hate ipads are because of lack of adobe flash, camera, multitasking blah blah blah. But the iPod touch doesn’t have any of those either! So how come the iPod touch isn’t hated and everyone likes it? Plus the ipad has a larger screen, voice recorder, better resolution, faster processer and more!
