I’m thinking of selling my 3G now while I wait for the release of the iPhone 4 in a few weeks. I know that I can just swap the sim card over to another phone to use in the meantime, but my questions pertain about my data plan, the unlimited one.

1. If I place my sim card into a dumbphone, will my unlimited data plan remain active?

2. Will it remain active for the few weeks I’m using a dumbphone (Since I most likely won’t be going online with it)?

3. And will it stay active once I’ve upgraded to the iPhone 4 aka get grandfathered in like they told us?
