Chromium OS on iPad?
Remember Chrome OS, that Google announced about a year ago? Well..it can be run on an iPad, sort of.
A short 0:26 second video on YouTube uploaded by Hexxeh, shows Chromium OS running on an iPad.
For those of you who don’t know, Chromium OS is an open source version of Chrome OS, the acclaimed OS from Google, to be run on “netbooks”.
Now… I don’t know why anyone would want to do this, but its possible. Also there are no instructions to have this running on your iPad, so unfortunately you’re going to have to wait, if you really want to do this.
If you were in doubt that it was running Chromium OS, just take a look at that mouse cursor. The one piece of evidence that desktop/laptop OSs shouldn’t run on a touch screen device.
