   The Ipad is pretty much an oversized Ipod touch. The touch is basically a hand held computer. You can listen to music, surf the web, download games, programs, anything you can think of that works with the internet. The possibilities are endless since a ton of applications are released and you can simply download them on the ipod touch and use them.
   The only thing the touch cant do is take pictures since it doesnt have a camera, and make phone calls since it doesnt have an antenna like cell phones do. (but you could technically use a program and the internet to make phone calls).
