I am looking for an ebook reader. I do not want to get the Kindle, as I find it too restrictive. However, I am currently looking at the Nook (offered at Barnes & Noble) and the iPad. What are the differences between the two. Which one would you buy and why? Thanks! :-)
iPad has a little bit more functions but only 1 thing at a time. Don’t use it!

LikeDislikeNook sucks! Just get iPad…. you will have apps a lot of that are free…. Nook is just a bad copy of Kindle …….. Barnes & Boble have a marker to sell books…. in other words they a name that can be used to sell books…. Ipad is about everything…. email, books ….. chat.. music…. video… and so on….. apple has a presentation on the website you can look at….

LikeDislikeDon’t get the iPad if you’re looking for an ebook reader. iPad isn’t designed for reading and it doesn’t use eInk and is definitely no good to our eyes for reading. Read this article and you’ll know:
Actually it is a misunderstanding that the Kindle is restrictive. There are a number of ebook formats that can be supported, including PDF. If you buy ebooks in open formats like PDF in other websites, you can read them on the Kindle. If any ebook that are protected by DRM, it can only be read on specific reader, and it is the same case for both the Nook and the Kindle. See the section “Files Kindle Recognizes” on the official page here for what file format supported by the Kindle:
I own the Kindle 2. If you ask me to choose again now, I’ll still go for the Kindle instead of the Nook, because I think the web browsing function is rather important (the Nook doesn’t even have a web browser). The free internet (and now it is free international internet) plus the web browser allow me to look for information whenever I’m in need. It is really a cool feature that cannot be missed. And right now it is free for both the U.S. and many other countries, it is just incredible when you bring it to trip.
And indeed, the Kindle has more available books, and ebooks are cheaper on the Kindle as well (Barnes and Nobles always count in the one million free books from Google, which can also be read on the Kindle. For Sony, many users complain it is difficult to find books for it).

LikeDislikeIk kreeg iPad en ik heb voordien ontsteek gebruikt. iPad doesn' t de gebruikse inkt maar met IPS technologie en autohelderheid, het lezen is genoegen en het doesn' t spanningsogen bij allen.
Het veelvoud dat komend deze daling op iPad maar zelfs zonder het belast u kan partij van het werk aangaande het doen. Het heeft volledige iWork die betekent u spreadsheet, woorddoc. en de presentatierecht van PowerPoint op apparaat kunt tot stand brengen en ik moet zeggen de interface indrukwekkend is en ik woorddoc. elke dag voor mijn werk cre
