How does the iPad know where I am?
I have the iPad without cellular access. Several of the apps seem to know where I am. I read online that it uses wifi to determine my location. How? Is the wifi in my house and that of my neighbors not private? IIs my home wifi broadcasting the address of my house?

It’s either magic, or GPS, or it’s using the IP address you get from your ISP, which identifies your city.
