ya the way my network is set up is that only devices with a their mac address listed in the mac address filter can get on the internet but it can also be set that if your mac adress is on that list you cant go on the internet.
If you have a linksys router (like I do) heres what you do
First find her Mac Address on the IPAD (Settings > General > About)
then go to ur computer and open any browser you use and in the address bar type in your IP address
then a box will appear saying to enter your username and password to access the router
once here click the wireless tab near the top
then click MAC filter and then there is an option saying Allow these mac address on the network or deny these mac addresses on the network (or something like that)
chose which you want and choose edit mac filter list.
If you dont have any other security on your network I would say that you should only allow certain mac addresses on the network. It is more work but it is worth it for the added security

LikeDislikeYes you can block the MAC Address on the iPad.
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap About
4. Scroll down to Wi-Fi Address, and that’s the info you need.
It’s getting very late here hopefully I did not miss any steps.
Hopefully you know how to block it or you could setup MAC Filtering or get a hold of her iPad then delete the connection from there and hide the SSID. Then she can’t find it to connect unless she knows it and knows the password too. You could also setup WPA2 unless you already did that.
You can use IE or FF then type in there 192.168.1.1 type in your user/password. Now if you didn’t setup the Router then ask the person who did for the login and after that try the suggestions I had mentioned above. MAC Filtering is one way of limiting her access to yes or no. Some firmware will even let you place a time that it’s allowed on. Such as 2PM to 9PM then it’s blocked again. That also depends on the brand of Router too.
If you have any more questions just ask. Remember to chose best answer, thanks!
