LikeDislikeNumber of songs is only an estimate based on 4MB per song. If you have bigger files you’ll hold fewer songs.

LikeDislikeI sync music I don’t listen to or haven’t rated when on the go; I have a smart playlist for Unrated Songs and newly downloaded/added content. That is the music I keep on me since I have about 8,200 songs myself. I am waiting for my iPad 64GB Wifi+3G model to come. Don’t forget that iPad apps take up a bit more space since they have more capability on this larger multi-touch screen. The media I keep on my devices are usually unwatched podcasts, unrated songs and songs I never listened to, via smart playlists. Give it a try.
